The Southernmost AIDS/HIV Ride
(The SMART Ride)
We are pleased to announce our involvement with The SMART Ride 2008. This two day ride features bike riders traveling 165 miles from Miami to Key West to raise money for AIDS. The dates, Friday November 14th and Saturday November 15th. Registration in Miami will be Thursday November 13.This is the 5th year of The SMART Ride having raised over $1.2 million to fight AIDS Our involvement is two-fold; first to raise money to fight AIDS and secondly, to help you train for this amazing event.
Stay Fit Studio is the exercise facility sponsor of The SMART Ride 2008. We are enthusiastically supporting this event by not only raising money for AIDS HELP (our local charity organization) but offering all participants in SMART Ride '08 some great benefits in order to get in shape for the Ride of your life;
-10% discount on all classes/punch cards at Stay Fit Studio
-10% discount on all merchandise and equipment
-of course free towels and water when you take any of our classes
-we will also be conducting some great fund raising events at Stay Fit Studio throughout the year in support of AIDS HELP. All proceeds raised from The SMART Ride go directly to participating AIDS services organizations in Florida top provide direct services to people living with HIV/AIDS.
Beginning Sunday February 17th,, we will lead training rides from our Studio every Sunday beginning at 8:00 am. We'll supply water, make sure your tires are inflated, use our facility and train with you on distances up and back through the Keys as you build strength for the ride. Not to mention the Spinning classes you can take at Stay Fit Studio to assist in your training.
